Nintendo is about to kick off its second Treehouse: Live stream, giving us a look at some of the upcoming games and enhancements coming to Switch 2.

Today’s presentation, which begins at 3pm UK time, will include Street Fighter 6 and Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster, to name two. You check out the stream below.

While the Switch 2 will also provide us with new instalments of classic franchises, such as its open-world Mario Kart, during its Direct earlier this week Nintendo confirmed it’ll be releasing special enhanced editions of original Switch games featuring higher resolutions, improved frame rates, and more. This is something many had kind of guessed already, thanks to some small print found on the company’s Virtual Game Cards page.

Along with Zelda: Breath of the Wild, other games confirmed to be getting an enhanced upgrade on the Switch 2’s release include Tears of the Kingdom, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Metroid Prime: Beyond, and Pokemon Legends Z-A.

As for the Zelda series more specifically, the games’ enhanced versions will also arrive with a second save slot and – excitingly – achievement-like medals. These medals will be found in Zelda Notes, a new feature on the Nintendo app that “can help you get even more out of your adventures in Hyrule”.

In case you missed it, yesterday’s Treehouse: Live gave us a closer look at Mario Kart World, including how its Grand Prix and Free Roam modes work.
